The brand began with a flash of inspiration – founders David and Luisa were expecting their first daughter, Amanda, and of course wanted to give their growing family the best.

Their roots were in Italy – a country filled with passion and design. David and Luisa searched for items of quality and style, but couldn’t find the attention to detail they were looking for. So, they decided to source it for themselves, setting up their first boutique baby shop in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Nearly 30 years on, the world of Mamas & Papas has grown to over 50 stores in the UK and many more around the world, but the passion for parenting and commitment to providing a world of inspiration for new parents remains unchanged.
